ILM Level 5: How Leaders Learn to Lead
Leading your company isn’t easy. And that probably won’t change any time soon. No matter how big (or small) your company is, or how big you become, there will always be problems to deal with, changes to make, and goals to achieve. This is why your management team needs quality education, communication and guidance.
The Level 5 courses from the Institute of Leadership and Management provides acting and aspiring middle managers with the superior skill sets they’ll need to naturally and successfully overcome whatever the future brings.
There are three courses to choose from:
ILM Level 5 Qualifications in Coaching and Mentoring
The most effective ways to learn how to be a better leader is to learn directly from one of your own — a coach or mentor. But to do this successfully, coaches and mentors need the right skillset and the right mind-set. They also need to understand how to assess their own skills, as well as make the necessary improvements and adjustments so they can perform their role successfully.
This course includes:
- The value of coaching and mentoring
- Self-assessment skills
- How to mentor or coach successfully
ILM Level 5 Qualifications in Leadership
Created specifically for current and potential members of your middle management team, this course teaches individuals how to assess their (and their company’s) leadership styles and abilities. They’ll also learn how to gauge their use of various leadership styles, communication, and motivational abilities. The result is a leader who can evaluate, refine, and continually improve their skills to match their company and their team.
